One of the things I see people complaining about when using Tao is the lack of "real" OS X support. I've managed to bolt together a Makefile that should be able to build a real functioning Tao application on OS X, double clickable and all.

It has some flaws (like library re-distribution) but it seems to work. In Part 2, I'll discuss library re-distribution. (more)

This blog entry sheds light on a very original exploit: playing a sound file over the computer speakers, intending for it to be picked up by a speech recognition system and then run without the user's consent.

Simply awesome. I wish I had thought of something like this.
