More Propane Injector news
While there still hasn't been an "official" v1.0 release, I'm planning on squeezing out the current SVN version again and giving it an arbitrary version number.
Some of the major accomplishments:
- Game class for 2D games provides an XNA-style framework for getting a game application off the ground
- Improved memory use and batching in Propane Model
- Proper VBO, FBO support
- Improved operating system specific support (query CPU, RAM, issue dialogue boxes, etc)
- Better Linux support
- SQLite wrapper

Propane Injector news
I've posted an updated HOWTO for Xcode that should work with v0.4, and a HOWTO for VS2005 that seems to work (although I didn't have space to go into shaders).
I'm planning on releasing a more finalized version of Propane Injector (1.0) later in the New Year that will feature a much cleaner class hierarchy, a proper shader class and the Propane::Font class in lieu of the old RavBitmapFont class, as well as good documentation (as opposed to the Doxygen hacks) and example code.
Please comment here if there's a deficiency in Propane Injector you'd like addressed. At the top of my list is probably gamepad support, but it won't make it into Propane Injector 1.0 unless I can figure out a good class design for it.
Ravuya Labs: In action!
In the last few weeks I've added the Propane Injector pages to the site, along with a tutorial for Apple Xcode 2.3.
Also, the software backing the Labs site has successfully been ported to the Ball of Doom main page. Check it out -- that one is really nice.
New stuff on the way, especially from Propane Injector.

I wrote a terrible Bash clone to keep track of quotes. Play nice, or I may ban you.

Through the magic of Internet technology, I was able to put up an RSS feed, have it validated, and have it work in Opera, Firefox and RSSOwl. This should suitably keep all of you very happy until I have time to write a bbcode stripper for it.

This is my very first topic. The Ravuya Labs website is designed to give you non-games and non-traditional software, ranging from hardware hacks to Propane Injector and other libraries which may help you out.
Why am I starting it here rather than moving it to another site? Easy, the hosting was free and it's as good a reason as any to make a website properly for once as opposed to my other site.
Please make sure to visit the forum to ask questions about Propane Injector or request tools.
